Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

From employers: name, work email, company name, billing details, and wallet transaction history.

From employees: name, work email, shipping address, date of birth, joining date, phone number, and gifting preferences (likes, dislikes, notes).

We do not store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed by our PCI-compliant payment partner.

2. How we use it

We use the information to: (a) operate the Service and choose appropriate gifts, (b) ship gifts to the address provided, (c) bill the employer, (d) prevent fraud and abuse, and (e) communicate service-related updates.

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties, and we do not use employee preferences for advertising.

3. Sharing

We share data only with:

• Subprocessors that help us run the Service (cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing).
• Suppliers and shipping carriers, limited to the data they need to fulfill a specific gift order.
• Authorities, when required by law.

4. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and audited. We follow industry best practices but no system is perfectly secure.

5. Retention

We retain employee preference data for as long as the employer's account is active. Wallet and order records are retained for up to seven (7) years to comply with financial recordkeeping obligations.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Employees should first contact their employer; employers can act on employee requests through the dashboard or by emailing us.

7. International transfers

Giftly is operated from the United States. By using the Service you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
